Truck Slams Into Overpass On Parkway In Westchester: Was Following GPS, Police Say Multiple lanes of a busy parkway in Northern Westchester had to be temporarily closed after a truck crashed into an overpass, police said. The incident happened on Saturday, Jan. 27 just before 1 p.m., when a box truck crashed into the Bedford Road overpass on the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway near Exit 28 in Pleasantville, according to Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary. 23-Year-Old Nabbed After Fleeing From Officers In Westchester, Police Say A 23-year-old took officers on a high-speed chase in Northern Westchester as he attempted to avoid a traffic stop, police said.
