A market that was forced to close after a devastating fire has reopened in a new location in Northern Westchester. Mast Market, a cafe and organic food store originally located in Mount Kisco, held a soft reopening in Bedford at 1 Court Rd. on Saturday, Oct. 26. Duo Nabbed Using Fake $100 Bills In Westchester, Police Say
Two men were taken into custody after allegedly attempting to use phony $100 bills to make purchases in Northern Westchester, police said. The two suspects entered a Mount Kisco business on South Moger Avenue at approximately 10:40 a.m. on Sunday, March 22, attempting to make small purchases using a $100 bill, Westchester County Police said. When the owner of the store used a device to determine the legitimacy of the bill, it was determined that it was counterfeit and alerted the county police when the duo ran off. Police: Drunk Driver Stole Running Pickup Truck Outside Westchester House
An allegedly drunk driver in a stolen pickup took Westchester County Police officers on a short chase as he attempted to evade arrest in Mount Kisco. Officers were dispatched to Spring Street at approximately 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 13, where there was a report of a stolen truck. While responding, they spotted the Chevrolet Colorado traveling on Main Street. The officers made a U-turn to follow the vehicle, which turned onto Kirby Plaza and South Moger before speeding away.
