Burglaries Of Westchester Homes Under Investigation, Police Say A series of residential burglaries in a Northern Westchester village are now under investigation by police, who are urging residents to take precautions to avoid being victimized.  The burglaries have happened throughout the last several months in Briarcliff Manor, the village's police department announced on Tuesday, July 25.  The most recent incidents were reported at residences located in the area of Sleepy Hollow Road and Long Hill Road, the department said, also adding that many of the burglaries have happened while homeowners were away on vacation.  The suspects will u…
