The incident took place in Westchester County in Yonkers around 12:45 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 7 on Saratoga Avenue. Officers first responded to a report of domestic violence and met with a 35-year-old woman who told officers her ex-boyfriend had made entry into the apartment and refused to leave. Suspect Nabbed For Brandishing Knife, Shooting Woman In Westchester, Police Say A 34-year-old man was arrested in Westchester for attempted murder after first threatening a neighbor with a knife, only to return later and shoot a woman through her door, police said. Officers from the Yonkers Police Department were dispatched to an apartment on Saratoga Avenue shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, where there were reports of gunshots fired. Upon arrival, Yonkers Police Det. Lt. Dean Politopoulos said that officers found a 43-year-old woman with gunshots to her abdomen.
