Car Fire Spreads To Home, Another Vehicle In Westchester A fire inside a Northern Westchester garage soon became more complicated after spreading to the residence, nearby brush, and a vehicle containing materials that caused explosive flames.  The blaze began at around 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 inside a garage at a home on Giglio Court in Croton-on-Hudson, according to the village's fire department. Serious Crash Causes Closure On Busy Road In Westchester Part of a well-traveled section of road in Northern Westchester is closed as police investigate a serious crash.  Route 9A southbound in Ossining is currently closed just north of Route 134, Ossining Police announced on Thursday, Aug. 22 around 1:45 p.m.  The roadway will be closed for an "extended period" as the department investigates a crash.  More information about the incident has not yet been released.  This is a developing story. The incident occurred in Fairfield around 12:10 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 3, near Lighthouse Point and Penfield Reef. According to Sgt.
