License Suspended At Westchester Restaurant/Bar After Rash Of Violence A busy Westchester restaurant and bar has gone dry after having its liquor license suspended in the wake of several violent incidents in the past year. The New York State Liquor Authority (SLA) has suspended the alcohol license of Mozza Restaurant in Mount Vernon, following a full meeting of its board.  As of Wednesday, Oct.10, no alcohol is permitted to be sold or consumed on the premises. Officials are expected to seek a permanent revocation of the license during the suspension. According to the SLA, Mozza has been slapped with five violations of Alcohol Beverage Control laws.
