Ducklings Rescued From Drain In Westchester Westchester County Police came to the rescue of a pair of ducks stuck in a manhole in Mount Kisco. The right man was on patrol at the right time late last month, as Westchester County Police Officer Scott Forsythe - who happens to own ducks and chickens at his home - responded to a call on Main Street, where there were two ducklings trapped in a storm drain. With an assist from the Mount Kisco Department of Public Works and the Mount Kisco Fire Department, Forsythe was able to rescue the ducks from the drain, though it took more than an hour to coerce them out of their temporary home.
