Members of the Monticello Police Department, with assistance from Sullivan County Sheriff deputies and New York State Police, arrested Anthony Joseph Heim of Spring Valley, on Friday, Nov. 23. Heim was wanted by New York State Parole on a parole absconder violent felony warrant. U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman announced this week that 10 people have been indicted for participating in an alleged narcotics conspiracy in Sullivan County. 5-Year-Old Killed In Two-Car Hudson Valley Crash Identified A 5-year-old girl was killed during a horrific crash on Route 17 when the pickup truck she was riding in crossed the center lane and slammed into another truck, police said. Charkeilys Viera of Rochester, who was not in a child seat or seatbelt, was killed when she was ejected from the vehicle around 2:48 p.m. Monday, said Eric Chaboty, with the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office.
