Receptionist From White Plains Accused Of Stealing From Her Employer A receptionist is facing charges after stealing money from an employer in Northern Westchester, according to police. New York State Police say Beck Pfeifer, 49, of White Plains falsified business records while employed as a receptionist at Laser Luxury in the town of Somers. Pfeifer allegedly altered records to reflect customer payments through the use of Groupon. Meanwhile, police say Pfeifer would then steal and collect cash payment for services the business provided that totaled more than $1,000.
