Community Comes Together For Saw Mill River Cleanup The Saw Mill River is flowing like never before, following an all-out effort by 300 volunteers on Earth Day weekend for Groundwork Hudson Valley’s Great Saw Mill River Cleanup.  Folks from all walks of life pitched in to pick up over 5,000 pounds of trash, including two dirt bikes, several mattresses and a multitude of car parts. Westchester Community Foundation Announces $506,500 In Grants The Westchester Community Foundation has announced grants totaling $506,500 awarded to 20 local nonprofits.
