The arrival of the cold front will bring about a big drop in temperatures, with lows between the upper 20s to mid 30s overnight into Saturday morning, Nov. 2. First Snowflakes Of Season: Freeze Warning Issued For Southern Westchester Have you seen them? The first snowflakes of the season are falling Saturday afternoon in parts of the area. The chance for flurries, particularly areas farther north, continues through around 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Though temperatures are in the low-40s, winds of between 15-18 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph are making it feel like it's around 30 degrees.
