Stretch Of Hutchinson River Parkway To Be Closed In Westchester For Days An alert has been issued by the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) advising that a stretch of the Hutchinson River Parkway will be closed for days. Over the weekend, the southbound lanes of the parkway will be closed between Exit 8 (Cross County Parkway) in the City of New Rochelle and Exit 6 (East Lincoln Ave) in the City of Mount Vernon/Village of Pelham. Separate Tractor-Trailer Crashes Cause I-95 Closures Two separate tractor-trailer crashes have caused closures on I-95 in Fairfield County amid the treacherous travel conditions following the arrival of a strong winter storm. I-684 Lanes Reopen After Serious Crash This story has been updated. Both the right and center lanes have reopened on a stretch of I-684 after a serious crash caused their closure for more than two hours on Thursday afternoon. The northbound crash occurred at Route 35 (Exit 6) in Katonah with stopped traffic at the scene and stop-and-go delays back to Route 172 (Exit 4) in Bedford before the lanes reopened just before 4 p.m. Hour-long delays were reported.
