Robert Khuzami, an Attorney for the United States announced that they have reached an agreement with Columbia Gas Transmission LLC, Henry Schein, Inc., and Union Carbide Corporation, to recoup funds the EPA incurred for more than a decade in connection with its clean-up of mercury at the Port Refinery Superfund Site in Rye Brook. Details Emerge In Double Tractor-Trailer Crash With Serious Injury One person was seriously injured in a double tractor-trailer crash on I-87 that closed the major roadway in Orange County for more than 12 hours. The crash occurred around 3:52 p.m. Monday in the town of Newburgh, said New York State Trooper Michael P. Cassella.
