School District In Westchester Installs Strobe Lights As Security Measure In an effort to keep students, parents, and visitors to Ossining schools safe during emergencies, the district has installed a new safety measure at a time when school shootings are becoming commonplace.  According to Raymond Sanchez, superintendent of the Ossining School District, the district has installed blue strobe lights on the exterior of all buildings districtwide that will alert anyone outside of a potential threat.
