Vehicle Theft: Man Robbed At Gunpoint Outside Home In Scarsdale, Police Say Authorities in Westchester are searching for at least three men who held a victim at gunpoint and stole his car in front of his residence, police said. The incident happened on Wednesday, Sept. 27 around 7:15 a.m., when a man left his home in Scarsdale on Edgewood Road and walked toward his BMW SUV that was parked on the street. Hypodermic Needles Found Near Westchester Elementary School, Church More than a dozen hypodermic needles were found on the ground near a Westchester elementary school and church. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department received a report on Sunday, May 17, from a passerby that there were two needles near the intersection of Nelson Road and Edgewood Road, in the vicinity of the Edgewood Elementary School and Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
