Four-Alarm Blaze Destroys Route 22 Restaurant, Apartments A four-alarm fire destroyed a restaurant and adjoining apartments and led to the hours-long closure of a stretch of Route 22 in the area, according to fire officials. Multiple tanker trucks and firefighters from throughout the region rushed to the scene of the blaze in Dutchess County at the three-story structure in which people were inside at the time the fire started at the Dover Cafe and six apartments, said officials with the Dover Plains Fire Department.
