Vehicle Theft: Man Robbed At Gunpoint Outside Home In Scarsdale, Police Say Authorities in Westchester are searching for at least three men who held a victim at gunpoint and stole his car in front of his residence, police said. The incident happened on Wednesday, Sept. 27 around 7:15 a.m., when a man left his home in Scarsdale on Edgewood Road and walked toward his BMW SUV that was parked on the street. The incident took place in Orange County in the town of Newburgh on Tuesday, May 17. The carjacking took place after a 21-year-old man from Fishkill had advertised his 2018 Dodge Charger for sale on Facebook Marketplace, said Chief Donald Campbell, of the town of Newburgh Police.
