Two-Killed In Head-On Route 6 Crash In Orange County This story has been updated. The two people killed in a late-night head-on crash in Orange County have been identified. The crash occurred at around 11 p.m. Friday, May 3 on Route 6 in Woodbury between the 293 split and Long Mountain Parkway. An investigation revealed that a 2007 Dodge Caliber traveling west on Route 6 crossed over into the Eastbound lane, state police said. A 2016 Nissan Titan traveling east moved into the opposite lane to avoid the Dodge. The Dodge Caliber corrected itself, moving back into the westbound lane striking the Nissan Titan, police said. Fiat Chrysler Announces Recall Of 860,000 Vehicles Fiat Chrysler is recalling more than 800,000 vehicles as a result of routine testing under new emissions guidelines that have been adopted by the Environmental Protection Agency. The recall was the result of “in-use emissions investigations conducted by EPA and in-use testing conducted by Fiat Chrysler as required by EPA regulations,” the organization announced this week.
