Fire Destroys Century-Plus Old Home In Westchester
A Northern Westchester home built in the 1890s was destroyed overnight when a massive fire broke out, officials said. First responders from multiple agencies responded to a home on Bedford Road at 1:11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 18 in Pleasantville, when a fire was discovered by a New Castle Fire Marshal who was passing by in the area. Going Out With A Bang: Explosives Will Take Down Old Tappan Zee Bridge
Parts of the old Tappan Zee Bridge will go out with a bang - literally - now that explosives have been approved to help bring down part of the structure.
