Three massage parlors were busted for offering prostitution services to undercover officers during an investigation in Westchester, police said. The parlors were busted in Larchmont and Mamaroneck on Wednesday, August 10. Familiar Face To Return To Serve As Police Chief In Westchester Town
A familiar face is returning after spending less than a year in the District Attorney's Office to take over from the man who replaced him as police chief in a Westchester town. Greenburgh Police Chief Brian Ryan will be stepping down at the end of September, the Town Board announced. Greenburgh Names Interim Police Chief
The Greenburgh Police Department is turning to a familiar face to fill the void left by retiring Chief Chris McNerney. Capt. Brian Ryan has been named the Interim Chief, effective on Monday, Aug. 26, taking over McNerney’s position. A permanent chief is expected to be appointed next year after the administration of a civil service promotional exam in March, Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said. There’s going to be a new sheriff in town, as longtime Greenburgh Police Chief Chris McNerney plans to pursue new opportunities in law enforcement in Westchester County. Building Condemned After Fire Displaces 35 Westchester Residents
A total of 35 people have been displaced following a fire that broke out at a multiple-unit building late Friday afternoon in Westchester. Drones Employed To Track Coyote That Bit People, Killed Dog In Westchester
It's all hands on deck for the Greenburgh Animal Control Division, which is using drones and a specialized team in an attempt to locate a coyote that bit a postal worker in the leg and is suspected of several additional attacks in the area. Residents in the area were warned by police to be on alert for a wandering coyote, which reportedly may be rabid, that bit three people and killed a dog on Wednesday, according to Hastings Police Lt.
