HARRISON, N.Y. -- The Harrison Educational Foundation will host its annual “Drive For Education” fund-raiser Oct. 7 at Century Country Club in Purchase.

At this year’s event, the foundation will be honoring longtime Harrison residents and parents Paul and Celia Curtis for their commitment to the education of Harrison students.

The schedule for the event is:

Golf registration - 10 a.m. to noon.

Driving range open - 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Buffet brunch - 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Shotgun golf start - 12:30 p.m.

Cocktail reception - 5 p.m.

Dinner and awards - 5:30 p.m.

Established in 1994 and operating independently from the Board of Education and district administrators, the foundation has raised more than $2 million for curricular enrichment programs and special projects that are outside the scope of the district’s budget.
