Astorino was on hand to help cut the ribbon on the building during a June 16 ceremony with lead staff members of Marks Paneth, according to the statement.
Marks Paneth, one of the region’s largest accounting firms, specializes in accounting, auditing and tax advising services.
According to Astorino's office, the Manhattan-based firm has had an office in Tarrytown since 2007, but as a result of growing its business in Westchester, the firm is expanding its presence in the county.
The new office in Purchase currently accommodates 65 employees, but is expected to house 100 employees within a year, according to the statement.
“We are very proud of Marks Paneth’s growth here in Westchester,” Astorino said. “The firm’s expansion is a great example of our county’s economic development. Businesses are growing and we have the space to keep them here at an affordable price."
