HARRISON, N.Y. -- Several Westchester County League of Women Voters groups are hosting a debate Oct. 17 involving candidates for several county legislature seats.
The debate is at 7 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building, 210 Halstead Ave., Harrison. It is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Rye, Rye Brook and Port Chester and the League of Women Voters of Harrison.
Invited to attend are:
- District 5 candidates Benjamin Boykin and Miriam Levitt Flisser. District 5 includes most of White Plains, all of Scarsdale and a portion of Harrison.
- District 6 candidates David Gelfarb and Mark Jaffe. District 6 includes Rye Brook, Port Chester and a portion of Harrison.
- District 7 candidates Catherine Parker and John Verni. District 7 includes Mamaroneck, Larchmont, Rye and portions of Harrison and New Rochelle.
