Port Authority police charge four teens in PATH train cellphone robbery

BEYOND BERGEN: Port Authority police took four teens into custody who they said robbed a cellphone from a PATH commuter from Canada.

The 34-year-old victim told crew memers at Newark’s Penn Station that his assailants strong-armed his iPhone 5 as the train was pulling from the Harrison PATH station.

Port Authority police searched the area and issued an alert that was heard by Harrison police, who detained the four at an area Dunkin Donuts.

Charged with robbery and conspiracy were Prince Drake, 18, of West Orange and three boys — two 17-year-olds from West Orange and a 16-year-olds from East Orange.
