HARRISON, N.Y. A Harrison resident was charged with driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over for erratic driving while traveling northbound on Harrison Avenue, police said.
John Iasillo Jr., 33, of 17 Broadway was driving at a high rate of speed and failing to maintain the traffic lane at 10:58 p.m. on Sept. 12, according to the police report. When asked for his drivers license, Iasillo told the officer he left his wallet at home. With his basic information, the officer checked the validity of his license and registration. His license had been suspended since March 7 for failing to answer summons out of Tarrytown, the report said.
The officer said Iasillo smelled of alcohol and his eyes appeared bloodshot. When asked if he had any beers, Iasillo replied, I had a few beers earlier at Sundown Bar in Greenwich, CT with some friends while watching the Yankee game, according to the report.
After failing sobriety tests, Iasillo was charged with DWI plus driving with a suspended license, both misdemeanors; and making unsafe lane changes, a violation. His car was impounded. While at Harrison police headquarters, Iasillos blood alcohol content was measured at 11:20 p.m at 0.08 percent, the legal limit for driving while intoxicated. He is due Oct. 9 in Harrison Town Court.

Suspended License: Antoinette Kennedy, 32, of 750 E. 219 St., the Bronx, was pulled over for following another car too closely and later charged with driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor, police said. When Kennedy was stopped at 1:26 p.m. Sept. 14 on Halstead Avenue, a drivers license check showed that she had not paid a driver responsibility assessment, resulting in a suspended license. She is due Oct. 11 in Town Court.
Suspended License: Vermont resident Richard Sedlack was pulled over at 2:50 p.m Sept. 12 for making an illegal right turn on red on North Street, police said. He was later charged with driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor. His registration was valid as was his license in Vermont, but it had been suspended on Aug. 8 in New York for not answering a summons out of Yonkers and for a dishonored check on July 1, police said. Sedlack is due Oct. 9 in Town Court.
