HARRISON, N.Y. Steven Favata of Harrison died Sept. 22. He was 61.
Born Oct. 15, 1950, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Francis and Mary Maltese Favata. He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Port Chester Veterans of Foreign War.
He later went on to work for Con Edison as a special inspector. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and boating.
Favata is survived by his wife, Margaret Cianci Favata; three children, Steven Anthony, Michelle Marie and Brigida Favata; and a brother, William Favata.
A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home in Mamaroneck.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
