Robert L. Betz, 90, Of Harrison, WWII Veteran

HARRISON, N.Y. - Robert L. Betz, of Harrison, formerly of Port Richey, Fla., died March 11. He was 90.

Betz was born in Greenwich, Conn., to Louis and Gertrude Betz. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and later went on to start his own TV repair business in Westchester County. After retiring he moved to Florida and then later moved back to New York to be with his family.

Betz is survived by his children, Robert (Judy) Betz, Dawne Williams, Mark (Judy) Betz, Barry Betz, Fern Kopytko, Thomas (Denise) Kelly, Timothy (JoEllen) Kelly, Edward (Tami) Kelly, Kathy (Greg) Blessing and James (Pam) Kelly; 25 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Trudy and his second wife, Jean; daughter Gail Kasica; sister Ruth Tetrault.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home 767 E.Boston Post Rd. Mamaroneck 914-698-5968. A funeral service will be held at 10am at the funeral home on Friday. Interment will follow at Kensico Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Betz’s memory to the Disabled American Veterans Association.
