HARRISON, N.Y. – Richard Contrata, of Harrison, died Saturday, Jan. 2. He was 82.
He was an Army veteran and a driver for Schaefer Beer.
Contrata is survived by his wife Elaine (nee Riccardi), and five children, Richard and his wife, Valerie, Nick and his wife, Jayne, Stephen and his wife, Kathy, Julie, and Janine and her husband, Brew Moscarello and 11 grandchildren.
Visiting hours are on Tuesday. Jan. 5, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 6, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home, 767 East Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday. Jan. 7, at 10 a.m at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church.
Interment will be at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Calvary Hospital or The Wounded Warrior Fund.
