WEST HARRISON, N.Y. - Margaret “Peggy” Orfei of West Harrison died March 5. She was 85.
Orfei was born in Brooklyn April 23, 1927 to William and Mary (Reilly) Newman. She was raised and educated in White Plains.
Orfei is survived by her husband, Frank; sons Frank (Gail) and Stephen; daughter-in-law Elise; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son John; sisters Eleanor, Gertrude, Mary, Winifred, Theresa and brother John Newman.
Visiting hours are at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Ave., White Plains. A Mass of Christian burial will follow on Saturday 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in West Harrison.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to her parish, St. Anthony’s.
