HARRISON, N.Y. --John (Johnny) Campo, of West Harrison, died Sunday, Jan. 3. He was 65.
Campo was born June 3, 1950, to the late John and Josephine (Polgano) Campo in New York City.
He was a 9/11 first responder and a plumber in the plumber and pipe fitters union in Manhattan.
Campo is survived by his wife, Grace Campo; sons, Chad Campo, of Sunrise, Fla., John Campo (Michelle), of West. Harrison, and Joseph Campo, of West Harrison; sister, Tina Carpenito; three grandchildren; nephew, Christoper Iannelli; and step-father, Mitty Carpenito.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6 at the Church of St. Anthony of Padua, West Harrison, followed by entombment at Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale.
