HARRISON, N.Y. -- Esther Egan of Harrison died Sept. 7. She was 90.
Egan was born in 1924. She received a degree in nursing from what was then Grasslands Hospital and worked as a registered nurse. She was an assistant in the science department at Harrison High School.
Egan is survived by her children, Kevin Egan (MaryLou), Susan Egan and James Egan; two grandchildren; and her siblings, Carmelo Selvaggio Jr. and Theresa Selvaggio. She was predeceased by her husband, James Egan; and a brother, John.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church followed by interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
