Edmund J. Cianflone, 94, Of West Harrison, Retired Sears Employee

WEST HARRISON, N.Y. - Edmund J. Cianflone of West Harrison died April 26. He was 94.

Cianflone was born Feb. 9, 1919, in New Britain, Conn., to Angelo and Mary (Antolini) Cianflone. He served in the U.S. Air Force in both WWII and the Korean War. He was one of the owners of The Silver Lake Bar and Grill before working for Sears in sales until his retirement.

Cianflone is survived by his wife, Lucy; children, Cynthia ( Michael) Pugliese of Concord, Mass., John ( Elizabeth) Cianflone of Stormville, Janice Cianflone of West Harrison and Lucy Anne (Tom) Gizzo of West Harrison; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Mario Cianflone; and a sister, Maria Rando.

Callin hours are Monday, April 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home Inc., 491 Mamaroneck Ave., White Plains. Funeral Service Tuesday, April 30 at 10 a.m. with Fr. Christopher Monturo, Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 85 Harrison St., West Harrison. Interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 575 Hillside Ave., White Plains.
