She was born Nov. 12, 1932, in Mount Vernon, to the late Edwin K. and Bridget Griffin Taylor.
Labella attended Resurrection School in Rye and graduated from St. Gabriel's High School in New Rochelle in 1951.
She worked in the business office of the Irvington Union Free School District until her retirement in 2003.
She was a charter member of the Father Edward F. O'Sullivan Council of Columbiettes No. 2579 and a member of the Harrison Seniors.
Survivors include one son, Daniel (Lisa) Labella of Trumbull, Connecticut.; one daughter, Mary Ann Vaccaro of Harrison; one brother, William Taylor of Coverdale, California; one sister-in-law, Barbara Taylor of Clay, New York; and four grandchildren.
Her husband, John R. Labella; one brother, Edwin T. Taylor; and one sister, Margaret Taylor, preceded her in death.
Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 26, at Harrison Funeral Home, 329 Halstead Ave., Harrison.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 27, at St. Gregory the Great Church, 215 Halstead Ave., Harrison.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 High St., Rye Brook.
