WEST HARRISON, N.Y. - Barbara E. Gessler of West Harrison died Oct.20. She was 80.
Gessler was born March 24, 1933, in New Rochelle, to Charles and Carrie.She was a retired switchboard operator with AT&T in White Plains.
Gessler is survived by her children, Kenneth (Roseanne) Gessler of Mt. Kisco, Carl (Yolanda) Gessler of England, Carrie Doery of Redding, Conn. and Louise Terraciano of Marietta, Ga.; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Alfred Gessler; and son, Alfred.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hawthorne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. Interment at White Plains Rural Cemetery, White Plains.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
