HARRISON, N.Y. Harrison native Ann T. Massinello, 88, died Sunday, June 7.
Born and raised in Harrison, she was the daughter of Dominic and Rose Modugno.
She and Joe Massinello, were married Sept.12, 1948, at St. Gregorys Catholic Church in Harrison. After they married, they relocated to Coral Gables, Fla., and they started their family there.
They stayed for 12 years, then moved to Port Chester, New YorkThey stayed in Port Chester and raised their children there. After her husband retired in 1978 from teaching and coaching at Port Chester High School, they retired and moved to Orlando, Fla.
After her husband died, Massinello moved to Port St. Lucie, Fla., for 14 years. She spent her last year in West Palm Beach, Fla. She was the last living sibling of seven children.
She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn; sons James and Joseph; one grandson; one granddaughter; and two daughters-in-law.
Services will be held at Lourdes Noreen McKeen Chapel in West Palm Beach Friday, June 19 at 11 a.m., followed by burial at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida, at 2:30 p.m.
