RYE BROOK, N.Y. Members of the county's Democratic Party gathered Sunday afternoon in a rally to support their ticket in the final days leading up to Tuesday's general elections.
The rally was held at the Rye Town Hilton in Rye Brook Sunday afternoon and included several figures of the county's Democratic Party.
Also present at the rally were Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Congressman Eliot Engel and Congresswoman Nita Lowey.
District 6 County Legislator candidate Dan Brakewood (D) was present and endorsed by other political figures as he goes up against Rye Brook's David Gelfarb (R) in Tuesday's election.
District 7 also includes candidate Judy Myers (D), who will be up against Suzanna Keith (R, C), and District 5 candidate William Ryan (D) against Iris Pagan (R).
District 5 represents White Plains and Scarsdale, District 6 represents Rye Brook, Harrison and Port Chester, and District 7 represents Rye, Larchmont and Mamaroneck.
