HARRISON, N.Y. -- A New Rochelle man who pleaded guilty to several train station robberies tops Harrison's news this week.
- Olivier Famby, 21, pled guilty to eight armed train station robberies, including one in Harrison on Feb. 9. Famby faces up to 25 years in a state prison for the robberies.
- Harrison High School awarded suma, magna and cum laude recognitions to 52 students. The students were honored for their high grade point averages.
- New York State Assemblyman David Buchwald (D-93), who represents Harrison and several other Westchester towns, announced his engagement to Lara Samet of Manhattan. The couple has not set a date, but is looking at the first half of next year.
