HARRISON, N.Y. Three men were arrested on marijuana charges in two separate incidents in Harrison last week, according to Harrison Police reports. Both incidents took place on April 10. In the first, Eric S. Bressels, 22, of Harrison, and Patrick J. Joseph, 21, of Mamaroneck, were arrested after their vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Crystal Street.
According to the police report, the arresting officer smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from Bressels's vehicle. The police report said the arresting officer found two grams of marijuana inside the center console.
The arresting officer also found 26 grams of marijuana in Josephs right front jacket pocket. Police also recovered a switchblade knife from the motor vehicle, which Bressels said was his.
Bressels was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Joseph was charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the fifth degree, a misdemeanor.
In the second incident, police arrested Mario Susic, 37, of Glendale, N.Y., at the intersection of Harrison and Halstead avenues. According to the police report, Susic was charged with driving with a suspended license. Police found a plastic bag containing marijuana and two orange tablets, later identified as the painkiller Nucynta, in Susics front right pants pocket.
Susic was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
