SUNY Purchase Remembers Sept. 11

HARRISON, N.Y. - Students and faculty members of SUNY Purchase stopped in silence Sunday morning to remember those lost in the attacks of Sept. 11. College President Thomas J. Schwarz led a wreath-laying ceremony with a speech as students reflected on the 10 year anniversary of the attacks.

The ceremony was one of several activities throughout the day hosted by the college, according to Andrew Marinaccio of the campus's online student-run newspaper, The Brick. The college also hosted a banner signing and open panel discussion on the attacks so students had avenues to speak and react to the tragic anniversary.

Photos were contributed by Jessie Lee Rumpf, photographer at The Brick.
