WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- U.S. Rep. Nita M. Lowey (D-Westchester/Rockland), the senior Democrat on the House Appropriations Committee, issued a response to President Barack Obama’s address on ISIL.
“ISIL is a threat to the western world, to our allies in the Middle East, and to security and stability in the region," said Lowey.
"The President’s effort to form a broad international coalition to fight ISIL is imperative,” she said.
