New Library Director Asks Harrison for Input

HARRISON, N.Y. - The newly-appointed director of the Harrison Public Library is looking to the people of Harrison to make the local library more interactive. Galina Chernykh and the library staff will be hosting a community meeting next week to gauge public interest."It's back to school time and we want to know what teens want and need," Chernykh said.The open discussion will be Monday, Aug. 29 at 3 p.m. in the library.Topics will include potential library programs, new books, and ways to improve the library's services. Pizza will be served courtesy of the Harrison Public Library.The library is located at 2 Bruce Ave. in downtown Harrison.For more information, contact the library at (914) 835-0324.
