Legislator Candidates to Debate in Harrison

HARRISON, N.Y. - Harrison will host another candidates forum, but with a larger reach of votership. Candidates running for county legislator will participate in a political forum on Nov. 3 in the downtown Harrison community center at 7:30 pm.

Dan Brakewood (D) and David Gelfarb (R) will be given time to show voters within District 6 why they are suitable for the legislator poisition. The forum will also feature District 7 candidates Suzanna Keith (R, C) and Judy Myers (D) and District 5 candidates Iris Pagan (R) and William Ryan (D).

A similar forum was hosted Oct. 19 in Scarsdale featuring Pagan and Ryan.

District 5 represents White Plains and Scarsdale, District 6 represents Rye Brook, Harrison and Port Chester, and District 7 represents Rye, Larchmont and Mamaroneck.

The forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Harrison and was organized by League President Lola Geiger. For more information, Geiger can be contacted at (914) 939-7066.
