Latimer Conducts Commuter Surveys at Harrison Train Station

LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- If you see George Latimer on your local train platform, the New York State Assembly member may ask for your input on the quality of your daily commute.

Latimer is conducting a survey of Metro-North commuters to gauge what improvements or suggestions local residents have, according to a press release. Recently, he has been distributing surveys at local stations, including Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Harrison, Rye and Port Chester.

"I'm trying to get both qualitative, as well as quantitative input," Latimer said in a press release.

Some of the comments, Latimer said in the press release, reference the condition of aging train cars, and a desire to see the new M8 cars on every train. Other comments address station maintenance issues, and notifications of service delays on the platform.

"There's a lot of work to do to address the diverse problems raised," Latimer said in the press release.

For more information, call Latimer at 914-777-3832.
