JetBlue Flight From Westchester Airport Hits Birds, Diverts To JFK

HARRISON, N.Y. - A JetBlue flight bound for Florida from Westchester County Airport Friday hit a flock of starlings that flew up from the ground as the plane was taking off, and as a result made a precautionary unscheduled landing at JFK, the USA Today travel blog Today In The Sky reported.

The plane was not damaged, but the airline swapped it out for another before the Florida-bound flight took off again.
