Con Ed: Harrison to See Restored Power by Thursday

HARRISON, N.Y. - Consolidated Edison reported 108 Harrison customers still without power as of Wednesday afternoon, but full service will be restored by Nov. 3 at 1 a.m.

Thousands of residents lost power last weekend when a heavy snowstorm made its way through Westchester County, downing trees and power lines. Harrison was more fortunate than many neighboring towns and villages with close to 800 customers losing power at the peak of the storm. Nearby North Castle reported 3,177 customers without electricity at the end of last weekend.

During and after the storm, Harrison police said some trees had fallen but there was no significant damage aside from power outages in town. The Harrison Department of Public Works was on patrol during the storm collecting falling trees.
