West Harrison Families Unite for Tag Sale

WEST HARRISON, N.Y. — Three West Harrison families who needed to get rid of some stuff figured they'd be better off teaming up rather than having people go to three separate sales.

Resident Ann Fiorelli said each family might have something someone else can use, so to make it easier for tag sale shoppers, her family and two others joined up on Underhill Avenue for the sale.

“We have stuff here for people’s different tastes,” Fiorelli said. “We figured we’d combine our stuff to accommodate more people.”

Resident Marie Girillo, who also sold some of her things, said she’s held tag sales before, though not in West Harrison. She thinks it's better for people to hold one big sale, rather than individual ones.

“We’ve had people show up two hours before we started,” Fiorelli said. “We told them to come back and they did.”
