WEST HARRISON, N.Y. - Maria Cicoria, a 79-year old resident of West Harrison, died on Oct. 13.
Born in Benofro, Italy on Aug. 6, 1932, she married her late husband Michele Cicoria in January of 1953.
Cicoria was a member of the Holy Rosary Society at St. Anthony of Padua Church in West Harrison. She is remembered by her family as a hard worker who loved to spend time with her family.
She is survived by her children Louisa (Antonino) Giglio of Armonk, Antonio (Maria) Cicoria of Stamford, Conn. and CT and Santo Cicoria of West Harrison, her sister Nicolina Montagano of Boynton Beach, Fla. and four grandchildren. Cicoria was predeceased by her husband Michele in 1972 and her sister Celest Yannantuono.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home. The funeral mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church with entombment to follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum.
