The event, set to take place at the Dave & Buster’s restaurant at 881 Pelham Parkway, serves as a substantial fundraiser for the nonprofit organization that works toward cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, according to organizers.

The evening’s schedule includes an hour-long networking session followed by a brief welcome and presentation, and a speech from the event’s “Honored Hero Speaker,” according to organizers.

According to organizers, about 100 people are expected to attend the event, which serves as the primary fundraiser for the Westchester County Light the Night Walk at Kingsland Point Park in Sleepy Hollow on Nov. 5.

This year, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society intends to honor:

  • Ross Silverberg of Scarsdale, a survivor of acute lymphoblastic leukemia
  • Daniel Levinson of Goldens Bridge, a survivor of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
This year’s Westchester County Walk will also honor the memory of Yolanda Blanco of Tarrytown and Bob Santucci of Bronxville.
