It's Spring Spruce-Up Weekend In Harrison

HARRISON, N.Y. -- The Town/Village of Harrison urges residents to come out and show their support tidying up the roadways, parks, wooded areas and streams, Saturday, March 22, and Sunday, March 23, from 9 to 5 p.m.

Target areas in downtown Harrison include Ma Riis Park, Veterans Park, the stream behind LMK Middle School, Beaver Swamp Brook Corridor, and West Street (in the vicinity of the I-95 Bridge).

Target areas in West Harrison include the Boulevard, various locations around Silver Lake and Underhill Avenue, and the Village Green.

The Mayor’s Office can be contacted for additional areas that may need attention. Clean up crew leaders will be at all locations and will provide lawn bags and instructions for sprucing up.
