PURCHASE, N.Y. -- The Katonah Museum of Art hosted an evening with the legendary style icon André Leon Talley at the Himmel Award and Lecture Sunday at the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Headquarters in Purchase.
The event featured a short program with a lecture led by Talley. As a fashion arbiter and commentator, Talley’s dynamic personality and long career have embraced some of the biggest names in the fashion and magazine industry. An early protégé of Diana Vreeland, who was also an assistant for Andy Warhol, Talley’s work spans the worlds of art, design and fashion.
His new book, "Oscar de la Renta: His Legendary World of Style," recently was published by Rizzoli.
